I have a bias toward understanding things by building them. Reading about systems is fine; running them is better.

This blog is the same idea applied to writing. I've been putting off having a place to publish thoughts for too long, mostly because the infrastructure felt like a project in itself. So I made it the project.

VitePress, Caddy, Docker Compose, a DNS record — nothing exotic. The point was to get something running that I actually own and can change without asking anyone.

The stack will evolve. The writing will be messy. That's fine.
